These terms apply when you order mastering, mixing or other audio services from Cid Inc Mastering. By placing an order you accept them.
1. Who we are
Cid Inc Mastering is run by Cid Inc Music Oy, Finland. Business ID 3327142-1, VAT ID FI33271421. Email: contact@cidincmastering.com.
2. Orders and prices
- You order on the Order & Rates page. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT.
- VAT is added based on your location. EU businesses with a valid VAT ID and customers outside the EU pay no VAT.
- Your order is confirmed when payment is received. You can pay by card and other methods through Stripe, by PayPal, or by bank transfer.
- For services not listed, we agree the price and turnaround by email before work starts.
3. Your files
- After payment you get upload instructions on the receipt page and by email.
- Send files in the format described in the FAQ. If files are missing, damaged or not as described, we will ask you for new ones, and the turnaround starts again when they arrive.
- You confirm that you have the right to send us the audio and to have it mastered or mixed.
4. Turnaround
- Turnaround is counted in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding Finnish public holidays) from when we have both your payment and complete files.
- Stereo mastering and DJ mixes take about 7 working days, stem mastering about 8 to 10. Rush delivery in 1 or 2 working days is available for an extra fee.
- These are estimates. If we can't meet a rush time you paid for, we refund the rush fee.
5. Revisions
Two revisions are included in the price. Ask for them by email to contact@cidincmastering.com, replying to your delivery email if you can. Each further revision costs €10 plus VAT. A revision is a change to the master made from the same files. A new mix or new files is a new order.
6. Delivery
- Masters are delivered by a download link sent to the email address on your order, and, if you ordered with an account, under Orders in your account.
- Download links work for 60 days. Please download and back up your masters. We keep your files for about 3 months after delivery and may delete them after that.
7. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel and get a full refund until we start working on your files.
- If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right to cancel online orders. By sending us your files you ask us to start the work straight away. If you cancel after work has started, you pay for the part already done. Once the master is delivered, the right to cancel ends.
- If something is wrong with a master because of our work, ask for one of your two included revisions (section 5) and we will fix it at no cost. If we can't fix it, we refund that part of the order.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used.
8. Rights in the audio
- You keep all rights in your music. We claim no rights in it and don't use it for anything but your order.
- We may name you or your release as a client, for example on the Clients page, unless you ask us not to. We only share audio publicly with your permission.
9. Liability
- We do the work with professional care. We are not responsible for losses caused by files you supply, delays outside our control, or how your music performs after release.
- Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This does not limit any rights consumers have under Finnish law.
10. Law and disputes
- Finnish law applies.
- Please contact us first; most issues are solved by email. Consumers can also take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi) and get advice from the consumer advisory service (kkv.fi).
- Other disputes are settled in the district court of Oulu.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.
